So… I’m finally sharing this story to the world (wide web). In my old blog (which I’ve reposted here), I posted three entries about our dear Berea Dannielle, her first battle, and her second battle. I wasn’t able to publish her third battle, which eventually turned out to be her last. Brei was our first child, given to and taken from us on the best and worst day of our lives as a young married couple. ?
In the same ultrasound report where we found out that the cyst was gone, our second battle began.
I actually forgot that this happened! But while I was scrolling through the stories page of our church’s website, I came across the title, “We’re Expecting a Baby!” and clicked it. While reading through it, it sounded more and more familiar, until my name was noted in the end as the writer’s name! Oh, how forgetful!!!
When we finally confirmed that I was pregnant at 5 weeks, one of the first things I asked God for was the name He wants us to give our baby. We wanted our baby’s name to declare a certain character or purpose in life.
