This is not a good morning read, sorry. This article, “Call Her ‘Pokpok’, Hit Her Boobs: How They Silence a Woman” really angers me.
It is a hint of the possibility that supporters like these will feel more empowered to keep this on if “they win” the elections.
It is not merely what a presidentiable can do, but also the effect s/he has on the Filipino people. This goes for any presidentiable, and all supporters of whoever candidate they’re supporting.
Pilipinas, respeto sa kapwa. Iisa lang naman ang hangarin nating lahat: ang pag-unlad ng Pilipinas at ng mga Pilipino. Sa ganitong pakikitungo sa kapwa, kahit sinong manalong kandidato, talo pa rin ang Pilipino.
